Corrosion engineering firm headquartered in the San Antonio area has immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of Oil & Gas related corrosion control experience. The primary responsibilities of the position are project planning, scheduling, resource utilization, as well as managing and meeting internal and client expectations. This position provides technical guidance for corrosion related projects as well as ensuring compliance with mandated guidelines and quality standards. This position requires strong communication skills, superior leadership and organizational skills for decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, preferably with knowledge of corrosion control methods and Federal Regulations for pipelines, storage tanks, and other O&G related facilities.

Job Description Project Manager

The Project Manager will manage multiple projects from start to finish. Responsible for project planning and execution, managing budget and resources, and client relationship throughout project. The Project Manager will also minimize exposure and risk, ensure quality and safety.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  •  5 or more years of experience as a project manager. Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.

  • Familiar with CFR Parts 192 and 195.

  • Familiar with API and NACE International Standards.

  • Ability to read and understand as-built plans, specifications, design reports, and geotechnical studies.

  • An understanding of pipeline and tank design, structural analysis, and/or construction management is preferred.

  • Experience with pipeline integrity of federally regulated pipelines is preferred.

  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills to interact with management, general public, clients, materials suppliers and contractors.

  • Proficiency in English with excellent technical report writing skills.

  • Understanding of GIS.


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.


Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Candidate must have Professional Engineering registration or capable of obtaining registration within 12 months.


Occasional Travel (20% of time, occasionally up to 40%) in the Southern US and for field investigations, site visits, training and client presentations.
